Julie Godfrey has been in the wine and food industry since 2009. In 2017, she established her own importing business. Julie has always found inspiration in all aspects of the wine industry from the farmers to the final wine product. Wine has an incredible ability to bring people together no matter what part of the world you are in. And there is a plethora of wine that isn't imported into the USA. To help bridge this gap and introduce people to some unique wine gems, Julie has focused Magnolia Wine Selections on the principles of impeccable quality wines at the best price possible. 

     

     Magnolia Wine Selections, in conjunction with distributor partners, caters to the consumer by offering only the best wines to hotels, restaurants and retailers.  In addition to importing, Julie enjoys consulting on wine programs and projects across the United States. 

     

     Julie has completed both the French Wine Scholar, Italian Wine Specialist and the Wine & Spirits Education Trust Intermediate level. Julie's mission is to find hidden wine gems across the world and share them with as many people as possible!

   

     

 

 

     

 

     

     

     

 

     Julie lives in the southern United States in Houston, Texas with her husband, 2 children and 2 dogs. She has always loved magnolia trees and, like wine, magnolia trees only get better with age.
